The East Asia Program (EAP) helps offers several categories of fellowships and grants for the help of the faculty who have been doing research related East Asia and Cornell students enrolled in an approved course of study with a concentration in East Asia. This fellowship provides an arrangement in which financial support is given for the graduate students to pursue their degree without any obligation on the part of the student to engage in teaching and/or research in furtherance of the University’s academic mission.

The main objective of the fellowship is to provide merit-based awards for the students to support them in a full-time course of study. This also offers supplemental funding to the  Einaudi International Research Travel competition, with the support for graduate students’ researches travels in East Asia. The small number of fundings for the co-sponsorship of Student Organizations on campus to hold events featuring cultures of East Asia is also done.

Eligibility

  • These are for the students of Cornell University. It is beneficial for merit-based scholarships for those students.
