Franklin Research Grants
Franklin Research Grants applications are open to scholars who have completed their doctoral studies and applications from early-career researchers are particularly encouraged.
The Franklin Research Grants funded by the American Philosophical Society support the research costs of scholars and researchers in all academic disciplines. The Grants may be used for travel to libraries and archives for research purposes; the purchase of microfilm, photocopies, or equivalent research materials; the costs associated with fieldwork; or laboratory research expenses.
Eligibility
- US citizens and permanent residents may use the funds in the USA or abroad; non-US applicants must carry out their research in the USA.
Benefits
- Applicants may apply for up to 6000 USD. Applications close on December 1, 2022.
