Latino Mental Health Research Training Program

The Latino Mental Health Research Training Program aims to help trainees develop the research and professional skills to address disparities in mental health care of US Latinos with mental illness and substance use disorders. The trainees will undergo an intensive one-week training seminar at the University of Southern California (USC) followed by a 10-week training program in Mexico City, Mexico. The first phase of the program consists of workshops by some of the top Latino Mental Health Researchers in the country. During the second phase of the program, trainees will be assigned to a specific research project and work closely with faculty mentors to carry out research.
