Travel Grants for Early-Career Scientists

Hurry Up!! The British Council offers Researcher Links which provides researchers with travel grants and funding for workshops. The British Council runs Researcher Links in partnership with research and higher education institutions in selected partner countries around the world.

Eligibility

  • Early career researchers, within 10 years of receiving their PhD, can apply. Allowances can be made for career breaks. If working in a field where a Ph.D. is not a pre-requisite for research activity, non-PhD holders with research equivalent to a PhD holder are eligible.
  • The funding is available to researchers in a variety of countries. Each funding opportunity states the countries from which researchers are eligible to apply.



Benefits

  • This travel grants provide financial support for early career researchers so that they can spend one month or longer abroad.
