Travel grants for MD/Ph.D. Students

Every year, the GUF awards a limited number of Travel grants for MD/Ph.D. Students from the University of Groningen who travel abroad for study, research, internship, or a foreign study exchange that forms part of the curriculum. The grant for outstanding Master’s students is no longer available, in its place the standard grants were raised.

  • The maximum Travel grants for MD/Ph.D. Students for a period spent in Europe is €650 and for a period spent outside Europe €750.
  • For outstanding Master’s students, there is the possibility to apply for a grant to attend a conference (in The Netherlands or abroad) or to enroll in a summer or winter school. The standard amount is €250.
