To be eligible for Distinguished Dissertation Award 2023 applicant must be:

• Applicants must be Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar.
• Doctoral degree awarded, or completion of all degree requirements, within the last two years.
• Individuals must be nominated for these awards by a member institution (UCLA).
• Completed dissertations representing original work should make an unusually significant contribution to the discipline. Abstract of the dissertation.
• Three letters of recommendation: one from the dissertation chair, one from another dissertation committee member, and one from someone of the applicant’s choosing.
• Evidence of completion of the doctoral degree within the stated time period.
