Google Conference and Travel Scholarships:Europe

Applications are open for the “Google Travel and Conference Grants 2019” in Europe to help break down the barriers that prevent underrepresented groups in technology and business from attending leading conferences.

At Google, the belief is that a diversity of attributes, experiences, and perspectives are needed to build tools that can change the world and everyone deserves an opportunity to pursue connections in the industry, networking with peers, and a career path in technology.

Eligibility

  • Scholarships are available in Europe for women in technology. In order to apply for the Europe Google Conference & Travel Scholarship, you must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
    • Have a strong academic and/or professional background with demonstrated leadership ability
    • Be able to attend the core day(s) of one of the conferences
    • Persons who are residents of Europe, the Middle East or Africa
    • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older

Benefits

  • Up to 1,000 EUR towards travel and accommodation costs (reimbursement)

Application process

Note:

  • All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by email, approximately four weeks prior to the conference. If you are selected, you will receive additional information on how to register for the conference and how to receive your scholarship.

Will be grants for applicants from Central Asia?

Hello: Unfortunately, this grant is only for people residing in Europe, Middle East and Africa
