Hurry Up!! The British Council offers Researcher Links which provides researchers with travel grants and funding for workshops. The British Council runs Researcher Links in partnership with research and higher education institutions in selected partner countries around the world.

Eligibility

Early career researchers, within 10 years of receiving their PhD, can apply. Allowances can be made for career breaks. If working in a field where a Ph.D. is not a pre-requisite for research activity, non-PhD holders with research equivalent to a PhD holder are eligible.
The funding is available to researchers in a variety of countries. Each funding opportunity states the countries from which researchers are eligible to apply.

This travel grants provide financial support for early career researchers so that they can spend one month or longer abroad.

Hurry up!! A limited number of JAAS Graduate Student Travel Grants are available for graduate students wishing to attend the OAH Conference on American History in Los Angeles, CA, March 30–April 2, 2023. Applications will be accepted from December 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022.

Eligibility

To apply, applicants must:

Be a member of JAAS.
Be born or raised in Japan, or otherwise have substantial ties with Japan.
Be a student registered in a degree program in a U.S. graduate school.
Live in the U.S. at the time of application.
Commit to attending the entire OAH conference and submitting a report in English.

The Foundation focuses on providing scholarships, grants, and awards in various fields to outstanding young Indians to enable them to develop their professional, scientific, artistic, and cultural abilities, both abroad and in India. It prides itself on being open to a wide range of subjects, many of which are not covered by other fund-giving bodies. Over the last four decades, more than 460 scholars have benefited from overseas scholarships while over 600 others have received awards and Take-Off Grants in India and abroad. Opportunities in India are offered through the Inlaks India Foundation.

Eligibility

The applicant must

Be a registered Ph.D. candidate at an Indian university for at least two years but not more than three years at the time of the application.
Have a first-class degree at the Bachelor’s (Honors) and Master’s level.
Those born on or after 1 January 1987 are eligible to apply for the grant.
Be an Indian passport holder, currently resident in India.
The award is given only in Humanities and Social Sciences related subjects.

IACAPAP Education Travel Grant

Hurry Up!! Applications are now open which gives you a chance to win the IACAPAP education travel grant.

IACAPAP Education Travel Grant was established to support the attendance of LMIC to attend the Association’s conferences, including IACAPAP World Congress.

The IACAPAP Education Travel Grant is made available by IACAPAP to supplement participation costs for IACAPAP Individual Member from LMIC presenting at the Association’s conferences. The grants are not intended to cover all expenses. The Secretary-General administers the travel grant budget. The number and amount of funding are based solely on contributions received.

Eligibility

Only IACAPAP Individual Members may qualify for an IACAPAP Education Travel Grant.
Current membership in IACAPAP at the time of submission, notification, and event dates.
The candidate cannot receive two consecutive travel grants.
Formal abstract submission is required for the respective conference you wish to attend. Please have the abstract submission number available to complete this form online.
The applicant must be registered and have fully paid to attend the IACAPAP conference.
The applicant must be an author of a full, short, or demo paper and be the one presenting the work at the conference.

The grantee of the IACAPAP Travel Grant receives the following to attend IACAPAP conferences:

Up to USD 500 (five hundred US Dollars) on reimbursement of airfare, transportation, and lodging expenses for travel within the continent OR up to USD 1,000 (one thousand US Dollars) on reimbursement of airfare, transportation, and lodging expenses for travel outside the continent.

Travel Expenses: Economy bus and train are covered by the travel grant. Taxi fares, parking fees, and fuel costs if you are driving to the site of the convention/conference are also acceptable.
